I shoot opened my heavy eyeballs. My throat was sore and dry.

The smell of sanitizer lingered all over the room.

Hospital?

What am I….” I thought instantly I moved my hands to my stomach. My stomach was as flat as a broken balloon.

“My baby!!” I scre-med standing up for the bed.

Instantly a middle aged man rushed in,side with a baby in his arms.

I remember the man from the night I passed out.

Not just that, he looked like me and he also looks like dad’s picture.

I was lost staring at him, is he my daddy? Was he the one that brought me here? I thought mum told me dad is gone? All these questions kept popping up in my head.

“Lind!! Lindy are you alright? Do you feel pain anywhere? Should I call the docto” He asked worriedly.

“Daddy! Dad is this actually you? Or am dead? And where is mother?” I asked confusedly.

Mum told me when we lost our loved ones and we die we would reunite with them. I guess am dead.

“Lindy my baby!! Am so sorry! Please forgive me” Dad said as he came closer to hug me so tightly holding the baby in one hand while he used the other to hold me so tight.

I couldn’t help but to cry…

“Dad you were alive and you couldn’t even come home for once?

“Where were you when mum was a Rose flowers vendor in the amusement park just to foot our expenses?

“Why did you suddenly appeared when my life has been messed up?

“Where were you when mum died because of a long time disease that eat up her heart?

“Dad why?” I asked crying real hærd.

But he hugged me so tight as he cried also.

“Am sorry Lindy! I died and woke up. I was shot several in the battlefield and I wasn’t able to move about for years

As soon as I got better I retired and decided to come home for you and your momma.

But is so unfortunate she’s gone now! I know I don’t have any excuses for my shortcomings but do well to forgive me.” He uttered crying bitterly as we both cried in each other’s arms.

Making the little baby to cry also..

He disengaged from the hug and stretched the baby towards me.

“Here is your child, she has really missed you” He said passing the cute baby that look more of a doll to me.

Instantly a sweet smile appeared in my l-ips and my heart melted at the moment I held her in my arms.

“She’s peaceful and beautiful just like heaven. For that you’re gonna be called”HEAVEN.” Cause you are my joy, my laughter and hope. And you look peaceful.” I said cheerfully as I hugged the little goddess so tight.

Instantly I forget my pains and anxiety.

“Thank dad for taking care of Heaven.”I said to dad Who smiled sweetly and sat closed to me.

“Lindy! We are leaving Spain for Europe tonight. I guess that’s the right place to raise Heaven.!” He said and I nodded sharply.

LIONEL’S POVS 🦁

I was In My room smoking as usual. My life felt empty now huh? But I don’t know why.

Instantly the door opened up Micha Walked in with a tray containing a cup of coffee.

“Sir your coffee is ready!” He said and I snap my fingers signifying him to head out. He nodded and left while I puff more cigarette into the air.

I snarls at the coffee and chuckled loudly.

Instantly Bush rushed in and I ordered him to disposed the coffee in the bathroom.

While I went downstairs and started acting crazily just like every other day I drank the coffee.

I could see Mona smirking wickedly at me as She stood up and walked up to me handing me a pen.

“Babe! Let’s go to your room so you could show me all the relevant doc-ments! Remember you promise to sign my name in most of the doc-ments and you haven’t done any!” She said dragging me like a foolish man.

And I tag along not wanting to raise suspiciousness.

I was informed by Micha that a lady is with Lionel.

And that bitch Lindy was chased out by Lionel.

The thought of another lady being with Lionel disgust me.

If I can’t have him then no one will.

Right now I am in my car waiting for her, cause Micha told me she would be visiting the groceries store today.

I waited at the location for almost half an hour when a black porsche car drive slowly on the slopes that lead to the store.

Without doubt I knew she was the one.

I snarls.

“Time to strike!” I ordered the guards.

When the car get closed to ours. Some of my men hurriedly went outside blocking her way.

It was all easy abducting her cause she was all alone.

She was dragged into one of the cars as we instantly speed off from the arena.

We got to the underground hideout.

And she was taking to the electrical chair.

She was made to sit on it…

“Let go of me! You’re hurting me!!” She yelled at the gaurds.

“Better shut the fvck up! And preserve your strength for the unknown nemesis!” One of the gaurds said to her smirking.

“Did you have any idea who my boyfriend is huh! You punk? When he gets to know,you would be in serious trouble. I would advice you to hurry up and let me go before it’s too late.” She said pretentiously.

And I couldn’t take it anymore as I walked into the room.

“Why disturbing the peace of the afternoon huh?” I said sniarking.

She gro-ned angrily
“Why the hell did you abduct me?” she asked annoyingly.

I smiled and lightened up my cigarettes.
“Dont you think you are holding what rightfully belongs to huh?” I asked and she w¡dened her eyes.

“I don’t get it, just spill the beans and stop beating around! I distaste trash..” She uttered pridefully making me to smile as I puff my cigarettes.

“I like your egos, even when being encountered with danger you’re still being prideful, let’s see how long it’s gonna last.” I uttered snarly.

“Tell me what belongs to you that I took, as long as I can recall I haven’t seen you before!” So hurry up and speak on!” She said and I went up to her and was about giving her a slap but before my hand could could land on her she caught my wrist and twist it.

“Dont you dare lay your smelling hands on me! Am a no nonsense taker, better be warned and go straight to the point.” She snorted.

“Dont you think he belongs to someone? Before you came from no where and snatched him?” I asked her.

„ She was silent for sometime.

I envy her courage tho, but am gonna so deal with her to the core.

“I guess you know Lionel?” I asked and she rolled her eyes looking keenly at me.

“What about him?” She asked sharply.

“Don’t you think he belongs to someone? Before you came from nowhere and snatched him?” I asked her.

She was silent for sometime.
“As Long as I can relate, he only has a pretty girl that was pregnant for him but after seeing me, he started giving the lady a cold shoulder untill he chased her out.” She said blushing all red.

“Fool! Did you think I will buy that mumbo jumbo ya spatting?” you drug Lionel don’t you? I asked puffing my cigarettes and she became quiet for some minutes.

“Stop spatting trash, you don’t know what you are saying” She defended.

I smiled.
“Well am not here to talk about all that! Am here to warn you to stay away from Lionel, cause he’s mine and mine alone.” I said.

“I can’t sis, he is mine now! I would advice you go look for another cause I can’t let go!” she uttered making anger to surged through me.

“Then you’re gonna die here today! Just make your last wishes. I am Dora and I fo for what I want no matter how hærd it is.” I said moving to the switch to on the electrical chair

But before I could grab the switch,she jumped from the electrical chair and landed on my back hitting me real hærd. I scre-med and hurriedly turned over and we both fall face up on the hærd floor.

We quickly stood up like two warriors ready to bounce on each other.

She fly high like super woman with her high heel shoe ready to punch me, but I instantly changed my position and moved to her back and lunch her a devastating punch making her to lose her balance and fell hærd to the ground.

She hurriedly stood up just like a flash she brought out a gun and pulled the trigger. Before I could run or Dodge it hit me so hærd in my arms.

I was caught off guard and she instantly moved to me and dragged me to the electrical chair and tied me on it switching on the power.

The electrical velocity passed through my body and down to my marrows.

“Enjoy what you wish for others.” She said and chuckled.

Bang!!!

Instantly the door was pulled down with a heavy bang.

We turned towards the door, Lionel and most of his men rushed in.

“Baby!! I always knew you gonna come!” That bitch said and was about going to hug Lionel.

But to everyone’s dismay Lionel pushed her so hærd and she landed her butts on the ground.

She opened her mouth and closed it back in shock.

“Lionel hurry up and safe me, am dying please!” I uttered but he snarl and winks at me.

“Dont you want others to seat there also?” I guess you should tastes your own medicine, nemesis has catch up with you, you gonna remain there and dry like a skeleton!” He uttered coldly without sympathy.

I gritted my teeth in pains.

Just then Micha was dragged into the room with most of his body covered with bruises and his face was all swollen. Someone could barely recognize him.
