The lecture bell rang loudly and I fell from my bed with a loud thud…
‘Owww that’s gonna hurt’..I muttered as I got up from the ground….
I took my bath and wore a pink top with my favorite flannel skirt and a pair of pink boots….
I grabbed my cooking notepad and left for class…
Almost getting there i bent down to pick up my pen and then someone pushed me…
‘What the?…You again??’..i scre-med when i s₱0tted Joyner…
‘Why are you always in my way,Ari loco,move over I’m off to Class’..he replied and I scoffed…
‘Not if I can help it!!!’..i shouted and we both ran like our lives depended on it…
Two Minutes Later🍭

‘Will the both of you get here and stop fussing around?!!’..Chef Greg scre-med at Joyner and i…
I sighed and put on my cooking clothes with a hairnet…
‘Good morning guys’.he said again…
‘Good morning Chef Greg’..we all replied in unison…
Chef Greg is not only the best cook in the world but he’s also my role model…
Being taught by him is more than a honor,it’s a privilege…
‘Bring out your cook books everyone’…he said and when I looked at my book I was shocked…
How is this possible???…
Instead of my normal cook book Nana’s book was on my Table instead…
Something very strange is going on and I’m going to find out what…..
‘Now I’m pairing you guys for today’s cook off,Nate you’re with Pete,Ashley with Jordan,Belle and Antonio,Joyner and Ariana’…Chef Greg said and I flinched…
Not again?!!…

Joyner’s POV
Why is fate toying with me?!..
Why are we always tied together???.
What is Dad’s Skillet doing in my hands??..
Why is everything so strange??
‘Today we’re making a banana souffle but with a twist’..Chef Greg said as i moved over to Ariana’s cooking table…
‘Ass h0le’..
‘D*** head’..i replied as she insulted me…
‘Look on your table guys,there are seventeen different exotic spices,you must pick two out of it and add to your Banana souffle to make it Unique,you have an hour,Adieos!!!’..Chef Greg said and everyone got to work…..
I picked four fresh eggs and started beating while Ariana peeled the bananas…
Things were kicking off at a good start until it came to the spice choosing…
‘Let’s use chutney powder and vanilla sticks,it sharpens the taste’..Ariana said as i put the batter in the oven..
‘No Ariana,Chutney powder makes it sour and the Banana flavor would be ruined’…i replied and she frowned…
Ten Minutes Later…

‘Why can’t you agree with me for once Joyner,let’s.use this powder!!”..She scre-med and i scoffed…
‘Listen to me Ariana,my dad is a souffle king and I know what I’m talking about,let’s use the vanilla sticks and a little pepper’…
‘Powder!!’…
‘Pepper?!!’..
‘Wait is something burning?!!’..Ashley spoke up and when I turned…
Oh God the souffle is burning….
Episode 9
Ariana’s POV
‘Oh God Joyner look at what you’ve caused!!’..I cried out as I brought out the burnt souffle from the oven…
‘What I’ve done??,you love arguing and that’s what caused this,if only you agreed to my bidding this wouldn’t have happened!!’..Joyner fired back…
I can’t fail my first assignment on a first day?!!…
Given to me by Chef Greg himself?!!..
Oh God this is bad…
‘there’s only 5mins left,what are we going to do now??’..Joyner asked and I placed my hand on my head…
‘if only we had some magic,I just wish the souffle would be ready by now’..I said and the unexpected happened….
My Grandmother’s book opened and the ingredients for my souffle appeared,.
That wasn’t even the fascinating part…
The ingredients came to life from the book and landed on the table…
No one could see what was happening apart from Joyner and I..
‘Jesus what is happening?!!!’..He scre-med..
‘I don’t know Joyner but all I can say is that your skillet is freaking me out!!!’..i scre-med in reply..
Joyner’s skillet was floating on air and it touched the floating ingredients..
All of a sudden the souffle was ready..
Before Joyner and i could comprehend what was really going on Chef Greg walked in….
‘Future Chefs present your dishes!!’..he said and i carried the souffle over…
Oh God i hope this tastes good cause I’m really scared…
Joyner’s POV❤️
Okay a lot of crazy things have been happening but what just happened is way more than crazy…
I mean..
Our souffle just basically Cooked itself…
I’ve heard stories about magic but I never thought it would be real?!!!…
‘Who made this dish??’..Chef Greg asked and Ariana and I raised up our hands…
‘This is the best souffle I’ve tasted ever since I started cooking,the both of you get twenty points’…he said and everyone clapped..
Ariana and I exchanged glances and then bowed down in courtesy…
‘We’ve got to figure out what’s going on’..I whispered to her and she nodded.
Chef Greg’s POV❤️
I snuck a piece of Ariana’s and Joyner’s Souffle and took it down to my secret layer….
It tasted more than delicious,it tasted divine and that’s why I’m worried…
There’s only one person who could make a perfect dish like this and it’s none other than Nana Hathaway,my worst enemy….
I think I would pay her a visit tonight…
Let me settle this score once and for all..

Joyner and I sat down at the lake staring at the water waiting for one person to speak up…
‘I have something to say’..we both said in unison and I blushed…
‘You go first’..I said and he raked a hand through his blonde hair…
Even though he’s a jerk he’s really cute..
‘Look Ari I know we’ve not been best of friends but I think we should make things work of if we’re going to figure out what’s going on’..he replied and I nodded..
‘Yeah I think so too’..
We both shook hands and then my book opened blowing a very strong wind….
‘ahhhh!!’..I scre-med as I held onto Joyner and when it was all over a young woman was seated next to us…
‘Who are you?!!’..Joyner asked her and she grinned exposing a set of white teeth…
‘i am the sizzle master and you both are my students’..she replied and I laughed…
‘Ohhh I think this is a joke,did you just come out from my cook book??’..I asked her..
‘Ohh it’s not just a cook book Ariana and Joyner,it’s a magical cook book passed from generations to generations in the Hathaway family,i taught every chef in your family Ariana and also you too Joyner,you two are special and this is why I need your help’….the so called sizzle master said and my mouth dropped open…
‘Y..you need our help with what?’..Joyner inquired..
‘Don’t worry Joyner that’s a question for another day but all i have to say is that you should be careful of that Chef Greg,he’s bad news’…she replied.
Another gust of wind enveloped us and then when I opened my eyes she was gone….
‘Magic,cooking,adventure i don’t know what the f**k is happening but I like it!!’…Joyner exclaimed and before i could reply my phone rang.
