🥦Mrs Adams’s Pov🥦

It’s another bright morning here today, I was going out to my mini bakery to earn a little. I’m quite worried cause i haven’t received a call from Susan for the wh0le of yesterday till now. Am sure she would call later, she promised to.

I was walking to the main road to board a cab when a car parked behind me, quite unusual. I waited to see if the person was here for me, or probably the other neighbors, but surprisingly, he was here for me.

“Good day ma’am” he said as soon as he approached me and I immediately recognized him as Susan’s boss,what does he want here??

“Good day, are you here to see someone?” I asked

“Yes ma’am, am here to see you” he replied

“Okay, how many I help you?” I asked

“Just for remembrance sake ma’am,am Stephen, Susan’s boss” he said

“I know, so?” I said

“Am here to see if you could spear me a little of your time, I would like to have some few words with you” he replied

“Okay, come with me” I replied after brooding for some seconds….
I wonder what he suddenly wants, I thought he sacked Susan….

“So can I offer you something?” I asked as we both settled down in my house.

“No thank you ma’am, what about Susan?” He asked

“She’s not in town” I replied

“Okay, am actually here on behalf of Susan, its kind of a private issue not related to work stuff” he said

“Work stuff? I thought you fired her” I said

“U hmm about that, actually I didn’t fire her, it was something else which I wanna discuss with you” he said

“Okay… So?” I said

“Well Susan and I were quite close, I don’t know if she didn’t tell you” he said

“Hmm? Am surprised she didn’t tell me anything about it, cause she usually keeps me updated on things as such” I replied

“Uh, I guess she didn’t tell you, I didn’t sack Susan, it was our relationsh¡p problem” he said

“Relationsh¡p? Are you guys in a relationsh¡p?” She asked

“Yes we are, but we had a kind of dispute, I reacted negativity to, and childishly I sacked her, but I didn’t mean to do so, I apologized to her and begged her to cime back when she came visiting but she refused and I haven’t heard from her since then” he said surprising me

“But she told me a different story entirely, she said you refused to give her the job entirely after so much pleading” I said

“She told you that?” He asked

“Yes she do and I think that’s why she went to Canada, probably to look for another job” I said

“She’s in Canada? But that’s so far from us, she could had gone somewhere closer”he said

“Please ma’am , can I have her number?” He requested

“Why?? I thought you guys were in a relationsh¡p, you should have her number” I said

“Of course, but I lost all my contacts” he said

“Alright, have this” I said stretching him a piece of paper in which I wrote her number on

“Thanks ma’am, I think I have to go now, but have this” he said stretching a bundle of money to me

“Thanks, but I can accept this” I replied rejecting the offer

“You have to ma’am,or Susan would be furious about this, she has told me how much you need the money, you can use this to cover all your bills and upgrade your bakery with the rest” he said

“I can’t accept it, I would be upsetting my daughter” I replied

“You won’t, she knows about it,in factashe asked me to give it to you, please ma’am, accept it” he said and I finally did

“I have to go now”he said getting up on his feet

“Alright, thanks for visiting” I said esc-rting him out.

I’m not touching this money, I need to inform Susan about this, something seems wrong somewhere

➿ Bianca’s pov➿

“Hey Catherine, I need you to follow that girl” I said to Catherine on the phone

“Am sorry Bianca, wr lost track” she said

“What!! Why would you let that happen?” I asked furious

“That task isn’t easy as you think, I was almost caught today, you almost got me in danger” she said

“Well that’s your fault, first you take a secret picture with your camera flash on, and secondly you couldn’t even eavesdrop properly” I said

“Whatever, why are you so interested in that girl?” She asked

“There’s something about her, I saw her with Daniel some days ago, probably he was the one who sent her to investigate the case” I said

“You may be right, she’s really determined and I think she knows Ricardo cause they were talking about the case today” she said getting me anxious

“Did you hear what they were talking about?” I asked

“Yh, I think I did a little” she replied

“Okay, talk to me” I said

“They talked about highschool stuff and secondly they talked about Britney’s death, and I think she was asking for the key to Britney’s room” she said

“Woah, did he give it to her?” I asked

“Am not really sure, cause I got caught immediately, and then some while later, they walked out together ” she said

“You’re right, we need to put a close eye on that girl, am not comfortable with her, I feel unsaved” I said

“U hmm, okay, do you know anything about her?”she asked

“Not really, I think she’s close to my Daniel and that’s the more reason why I want to bring her down” I said

“So what do you suggest now?” She asked

“Probably we should, do something to bring her down, something that would keep her busy for so long” I said

“That gives me an idea, she may still come to the mansion since she asked for the key to Britney’s room,we would make a plan to implicate her, one that would take her to prison and also destroy her reputation especially in Daniel’s presence” I added

“That’s great bianca,you’re really good at this” she said

“Trust me” I said and we both chuckled

“I’m just tired of working as as amsid here, I got my life to live Bianca” she said

“Common Catherine, chill okay, very soon all of this would be over soon and I’ll get you out if there, remember, I owe you a million dollar, I might even increase it to two, you’ll be rich Catherine” I said

“Yh whatever, I guess I can still wait, bye Bianca I have to go now” she said

“Bye” I replied hanging up the call

Yes!! I just hope my plan works,that girl seems determined and her determination would lead her into danger…that’s it I don’t want to be in jail…

I quickly zoomed away in my vehicle to my mum at home who is never satisfied at whatever I do for her.

🎀Susan’s pov🎀

I was walking to board a cab alone after Ricardo esc-rted me to the junction.

It wasn’t easy getting one since it was evening already and alot of people would be closing from their place of work or duty.

I was still walking when a car stopped in front of me, I immediately recognized it to be Daniel’s car, probably if am not mistakened

The flash was brought down and I wasn’t wrong, he kept staring at me intensely, so I decided to break the silence to prevent everything from getting awkward

“Hey” I greeted but get still kept quiet

“Am sorry for the other day, I wasn’t myself” I said

“Get in” he said

“Hun?” I said confused

“I said get in, I’m giving you a ride” he said

“No, thanks for your offer, I know my way” I said

“It isn’t an offer, Susan” he said and I finally gave in

I hopped into his vehicle, I didn’t even tell him my address but surprisingly he dropped me in front of my hotel….

“Thank you mr Daniel, but how did you know that this is where I live?” I asked

“I’ve told you, it’s Daniel and about that, its for me to know and for you to find out” he said

“But Daniel, I think we need to talk about the other day, am really sorry for the other day, I did….

“Am not ready to talk now, we could see and talk about this another day, you may go” he said

Wow!! He is really something else

“Okay thank you” I said but I got no reply, He’s way too weird

I was walking when my eyes met with Stephen standing in front of me

“Jeez!!!!!! What the hell are you doing here?” I asked confused

“To see you of course” he replied

” how did you even know am here”I said confused

“Your mum told me you’re here, and with your mobile number, I tracked you down here” he replied

“You gotta be crazy, leave now” I said angrily

I was still ragging in anger when I heard a perfect voice

“Stephen?” Ytge voice called, it was Daniel’s

“Daniel” Stephen replied in a questioning look
