Chapter Forty Nine: SEEING HIS REAL FORM IN DAY LIGHT 1
Struggling I bite his tongue while he did the same, more hard than mine, looking at him I gasp from shock and surprise, why is Darius kissing me?? If Verdun find out he will be more disappointed. What will he gain from kissing me in such a way.
He withdraw, holding my chin with his other hand, he is pissed and angry but why??? ” you think you can throw insults at me, call me a low dog ” I try speaking but his hand holding my face stop me from uttering any word ” you keep showing that pussy everywhere you go, making us know fully well you are untouched, unmark, just for the taking ” he lean close then lick my neck ” having you right now will give me the power I need, power to face Verdun on”
Using all the force I could gather I shove him then try to breath, he is blocking the way out ” stay away from me or else….”
” or else what” he furrow his brows then grab me by the hand pulling me closer ” your sweet Verdun is out of town till late at night, me and you have all the time to struggle before I finally take that life force from you ” looking at him I know they is no way of talking him out of this silly idea of his ” Verdun must be foolish to think that I want to attend a silly ball, we three came here for you and am so glad am beating them to it, having you first ” his blue eyes glitter with mischief while his lips curve into a smile.

Darius chuckle ” who needs his silly forgiveness, he is just my stupid half brother ” holding my neck he lean close ” you will be mine in ten minutes” the only thing I could think of is to shout, that’s all I could do ” help!!!!! Someone… ” before I could complete screaming he use his hand to cover my mouth.
” you stupid bitch ” he growl punching my stomach with his other hand, blinking I try enduring the pain but it hurts like so fucking much.
” let go of her ” someone mumble calmly, it wasn’t the voice I wanted to hear but whoever help me right now I will be grateful, Darius slowly let go of me which give me the chance to stare at the person, she has this long blond hair, black eyes colour, she is stunning, her clothes are so different and tight, revealing all her curves.
She fold her hands looking irritated ” haven’t you learn to respect women Darius ”
” well well well, isn’t it Bennett, you are looking stunning, stunning enough to eat ” Darius chuckle licking his lips ” I will prefer it if you stay out of this Bennett, she..” he grab me by my hand then pull me to him ” she is mine now ”
” if she is yours, Verdun won’t go through the trouble of finding me” I watch her clap her hand and the next thing happening is me standing behind her, how did I get here? No idea ” she is Verdun’s and until am done with my work you don’t get to touch her again ”
” hmmm, so from Verdun ex you become his current lover body guard ” I watch Darius shake his head ” what a shame Bennett, you should have stick with me. Anyway Betty, we are not done” after that he leave without even fighting this Bennett, I have heard of her name in Verdun past before, he ask for her before going to meet Lucifer ” who are you??” I asked while she turn around to give me a furrow of her brows.

” no it isn’t ” smiling I mumble ” thank you ”
” they were right ” she shake her head looking disappointed ” a Luna never say those words, a Luna doesn’t need to be this way, so easy for Darius to touch you. Verdun will be pissed when he find out ”

” and why not ” Bennett furrow her brows ” do you like the way he touched you??”

” I definitely do not like surrounding myself with such weak soul like yourself” her eyes study me ” I will train you as requested from a old enemy of mine but that should be after the ball, you are going to get out of bligor, far away from any lycans ”
” even Verdun??” I gasp shocked ” I can’t leave him alone, I won’t be able to live with out him and he can protect me right ” it look like my words only angered her because she yell from annoyance after hearing what I said.
” what is wrong with you ladies, Verdun wasn’t here when you almost got raped was he? Learn to protect yourself, lycans hate weak creatures and right now your inner energy is ridiculously weak ” my gaze lower to the ground ” look at me in the eyes when talking to you, a Luna never lower her head!!” Lifting my gaze back to meet her I step back frighten, this lady scares me ” are you about to cry??” She mock while I shake my head ” words Betty ”
” no” swallowing I look up at her ” are you suppose to talk to a Luna in such manners ” this got her smiling
” he haven’t marked you and am not a lycan to bow to you nor do I like you ” and with that she vanish out of my sight leaving me confused, who is she?? Why is she feeling hate toward me?? This is the first time am even seeing her, is it because she is Verdun ex?
” Luna” hearing Edward voice I turn to look at him ” I have seen alpha, you were looking for him right” nodding my head he continued ” he is in the east garden, the east part of this mansion ” maybe Darius was lying about him coming back late at night.
” thank you ” smiling I walk to the east of the mansion and it was the first time my gaze land on servants, you will think this house has no servant but so far I have seen ten, taking another step I growl at the pain in my tummy and then what Darius did to me come back in full force.
He almost raped you, Verdun wasn’t there, you need to train but will have to be far away from Verdun, do I want that? I don’t want to leave Verdun side
Arriving at a door I stare at what is written above it ALPHA VERDUN GARDEN. Nodding my head i open it gently then step inside, its nothing like a garden, books are everywhere, shelf’s, ladder to climb then a sweet scent of coffee full the place ” Verdun??” Mumbling I move to the direction where the aroma is coming from.
Verdun is standing, coffee placed on a table while he look at the other glass door in the room ” Verdun??” Moving close I gasp when I stare at what he is seeing, humans tied to trees, screaming ” what is it Betty ”
” why are people there” moving closer he turn around I gasp out of surprise and out of fear, he look so angry, pissed and sad ” they are still alive, we should help them ”
” stop that Betty, these are my food not people ” when the words left his mouth I shake my head ” what do you think I eat, animals?”
” why?”
” I wish not to see you Betty, leave my presence ”
” No!” Growling I watch him turn around, looking back to his so called food ” I do not like all these, I don’t like the fact you kill people, I don’t like the fact that you plan on sending me far away from you and that too with your ex, I also don’t like the fact that Darius almost raped me and you did nothing about it but stare at innocent people to eat” maybe I shouldn’t have said anything relating to that last sentence
When he turn around to face me I flinch, veins already appearing in his body ” Darius did what??” His eyes has turn red.

Chapter Fifty: SEEING HIS REAL FORM IN DAY LIGHT 2 ( DEATH OF DARIUS)
When he turn around to face me I flinch, veins already appearing in his body ” Darius did what??” His eyes has turn red, his chest keep rising and falling and he seem to be increasing in size, he might kill Darius in this condition, blood of his brother will be on his hands, I don’t want that.
Shaking my head I move towards his direction, hugging him tight ” no, you shouldn’t do anything to him ” the moment the words left my mouth he stop moving and I know something is wrong, looking up at him, he look so angry at me.
” you beg me for another man??” Shaking my head he shove me away from him, falling down I look up at him ” I didn’t mean it that way Verdun, I just don’t want you to kill your brother ” he bend down to my level, he is still in his human form but his eyes are now four, he look really Scarry.
” don’t tell me you liked his touch Betty” grabbing me by the neck tears drop from my eyes ” is it because you liked the way he touch you that you wish not for his death!!” Not saying anything he yell making tears to flow from my eyes ” answer me!!!”
” no!!!” Crying he let go of my neck then grab my hand pulling me up ” you will watch me eat him alive and then I will believe you” he bring his tongue out, licking his lips, this is not the Verdun I know, he talk and act like a different person entirely.
Not waiting for my answer he drag me with him to Darius room, on the way servants keep running away from him, his body is increasing with every passing minutes ” please stop this!!” He paid no attention to me, the door to Darius room open, revealing him in nothing but a towel, body wet, he must have come out of the bathroom ” what do I owe this amazing visit Verdun ” he smile but from the look in his eyes, he is scared.
Verdun finally let go of my hand, he smile looking more dangerous ” what can I say brother, you shouldn’t have touched what’s mine” Verdun chuckle ” unless death is calling you to come home ”
” don’t flatter yourself brother ” Darius smile but dare not step forward ” she is nothing but a life force I need ”
” I told you earlier didn’t I??” Verdun swiftly grab Darius by the neck ” stay away from her” adding pressure to Darius neck, I watch Darius lift his hand up, hitting Verdun’s away from him then gasping for air.
” have you lost your mind Verdun???” He transform to a huge wolf, his wolf side is black still with blue eyes ” you want a fight you should have said so ” Darius growl
” I do not waste strength in such a weak thing as yourself ” Verdun didn’t bother in fully transforming as they attacked each other, they were so fast I could not detect who is winning or losing, sounds of bones breaking could be heard ” Luna, come here” Nolan drag me out of the room ” you might get hurt in there ”
” but Verdun ???” I gasp when that particular building fall down, Nolan has to hold me from running toward it ” Verdun is in there, what if something happen ”
” he will be fine Luna ” this time Edward mumble standing behind me ” you should learn to trust alpha, he is not weak anymore ” nodding I couldn’t help but to cry, this is all my fault, what if Verdun don’t come out, its been some minutes and hour of standing here.
” I need to check ” standing up I move to the fallen building before they could stop me, the whole place is quite, moving closer I gasp when I see Darius on the floor, he is staring at me but dead ” was waiting for you Betty ” Verdun mumble not looking at me ” I did say you should watch me eat him”
I know I should go but I couldn’t move, Verdun tear his body, grab his heart and eat, next his hand, eyes, lungs, he eat all the part he find edible and finally pull out his head from the neck, turning around I watch him throw the head of Darius to my direction and I caught it.
Shaking I look back at Verdun, his eyes no longer four but still red, saying nothing he walk pass me, asking a maid to prepare his bath, my body won’t stop shaking, Verdun killed his brother without a single care in the world ” maybe if you had keep shut he might still be alive ” turning around I stare at Hafiz ” are you satisfied Betty, are you happy that my brother is dead ” shaking my head he try moving closer but Edward block his path ” just so you know, his blood is on your hands” the moment he said that Darius head fall from my hand.
” Luna are you okay ”
” she is high in fever ”
” send for the physician ”
These are the words I heard before losing my unconsciousness, I have never expected today to be like this, like I said, things don’t always remain nice and sweet.
Verdun step out of the bathroom into the room to see an unconscious Betty, moving to the mirror I couldn’t help but to squeeze my hands at my reflection, my eyes are still red, the anger in my blood keep boiling, giving Darius such a easy earth is not something I enjoyed.
Betty begging me for another man is not what I expected and her mocking my source of power? I never expected that either.
Putting on my boxers I grab a robe, put it on then step to the balcony, this night seem to be really quite and sorrowful, this will show Hafiz not to mess with me ” Verdun??” Hearing her voice I squeeze my eyes from the disappointment I feel
” I wish not to speak or see you for now Betty ”
” why ”
” my wolf do not like the scent all over you, he dislikes it ” I heard nothing else, the sound of the bath running made me smile and then frown, it only took her five minutes and she is out, I didn’t turn to see what she is wearing.
” what about now??” Hope is in her voice
” I do not like your presence Betty ”
” am sorry ” she sniff which only made me realize she is crying and the next thing happening is her hugging me from behind ” I am foolish, stupid, you can insult me but please don’t avoid me ”
” let go Betty ”
” don’t call me that !!” She yell and I turn around to face her ” don’t call me that”
” that is your name, is it not?”
” no, you usually call me amor so why are you calling me Betty” she cry like a little child ” I do not like it ” watching her crying got me annoyed and angry, angry that am the cause of her crying.
” hmm, all I feel right now is disappointment towards you” the look on her face is heart breaking, her eyes widen from shock and regret, I do not like seeing her cry but I still wish not to be close to her ” excuse me” and with that I left her in the balcony and head to the painting room with some clothes to put on.
