I sat on the couch thinking about what I was going to do, Bobbie and Angie were kidnapped and it was all because of me…. I can’t let them take the fall for me I have to save them.
I took the phone and call the number on the phone.

Chief Ezekiel ➡ Veronica, Veronica, I can’t believe I’m talking to the bitch that has been a pain in our asses.

After that he ended the call, I sat down thinking of what I was going to do next,…. These guys will definitely kill me if I go there but how sure am I they will let Angie and Bobbie go? Just when I was finally ready to settle down and now this…….

As I was standing around, I felt a pin 📌 on my neck, it was painful I quickly removed it and saw it was a darting gun, these bastards had shot with a sleeping tranquilizer, my eyes felt dizzy before long I fell on the ground, I felt my body being carried in haste, and a mask was put over my face.
Finally I was woken with a splash of chilling cold water, I was tied to a wooden chair and the place we’re in was like an underground basement…
I couldn’t recognize or see where I was cause my eyes was blurry, whatever they shot me with was powerful, it took a while before I regain full consciousness of myself, I looked around and saw some men, probably the guards, they looked like this ghetto kind of guys all talk but nothing to show. As they realized I was fully awake, they began to make fun of me in an uncomfortable manner.

The guy landed a thunderous slap on my face making me fall together with the chair, the slap was so painful I felt it right down my back, I clenched my fists in anger, I tried to break free of this damn ropes but it was really tight, if I’m going to die, I’d rather die fighting with my dignity intact than to be humiliated by these bastards.
The others raised me up, the one that slapped me stood in my front laughing as hærd as he could, he grabbed my cheek and tried to k-ss me, his breath was stinking and his body odour was awful, as soon as he brought his l-ips closer, I bit them hærd, he shouted with pain, I didn’t let him go until I saw blooding gushing out of his l-ips, he fell back holding his mouth in pain, the other ran to his aid checking if he was alright, the idiot stood up and rushed at me trying to beat the hell out of me but he was restrained by the others.

He fumer with rage and anger as the others laughed at him, he flicked his fingers and swore vengeance.
In that moment, The men responsible for my capture came into the basement! I recognized them all, they were friends with Chief Adebayo, Judge Reginald and the others, they walked laughing as they saw me. They each stood in front of me looking down on my as if I was their prey.

The thugs hurried and brought out Bobbie and Angie, as soon as they were brought out, I gasped in horror as I saw them, they were brutalised their faces and body was covered in wounds and blood, they were also tied in chairs, they were not conscious from what I could see, tears welled up in my eyes, I struggled to break free, I shouted with all my might at the men trying to reach them but I couldn’t, the men laughed as they saw my reaction, the Man called Alafin slapped me hærd on the face, making fall again on the ground, I began to cry as I looked at the roughed up bodies of Bobby and Angie.

The chief slapped me on my face then pushed me off with his feet, making fall hærd on the ground, The others laughed at me as they ordered the thugs to raise me up, they dragged me close to a rubber, the rubber was empty and it was wild, I didn’t know what these bastards were planning but whatever it is, it wasn’t going to be good.
The thugs tilted me backwards with my head touching the rubber, in that moment, the thugs brought gallons of water about a dozen of them, the Chief and his friends removed the clothes until the only thing left was their singlets and shorts, the thugs brought out some jugs and filled it with water, and handed to the chief and his men.

The thug covered my face with a light handkerchief and and the chief and his friends began to pour it down my face, I struggled to break free but they held me tight as they poured the water on my face, the water was too much it was entering my nose and ears, I could hærdly breathe, They continued pouring the water on my face till the damn rubber was full, after they were done, I also drowned, I coughed hærd, vomiting hærd on the ground, The men laughed at me as they proceeded to the next stage of their torture.

I knew this was bound to happen sooner or later, I warned her but she didn’t listen and now she’s paying a heavy price for it.
Cherry was restless and sad, she couldn’t calm her mind when she noticed Veronica and her friends, she would always pressurize me to find them, I did all I could but nothing was found, no trace of Veronica and her friends.
Two days passed and the search wasn’t going anywhere, i asked the people who knew her but no one knew where she was, I tried to search for clues but nothing was found yet, I tried calling her number but it was switched off.
But what baffled me was, How was she found? I was the only one who knew where she was, Something wasn’t right about this.
Just then I remembered that some men came to me about Veronica! They wanted to see my file case about her and even tried to bribe but I refused and sent them away!
I quickly brought out the file and checked if it was somehow tampered with, as I opened the file, I noticed they weren’t the same where I had arranged them, someone had gained access to them but who, the only person who knew where my file was is Femi!
And he’s not at work today, I quickly left the station and went to his house! As I reached his house, I heard some noise in the house, there was some low mo-ns in room.
I banged the door as hærd as I could trying to open it but soon the door was opened by Femi himself, he was sweating and he had a bedsheet wrapped around his wa-ist.

The delay in his voice indicated he was lying, I pushed him in and grabbed his neck tight, I pulled out my gun and pointed at his head, he was surprised by what I did.

I clicked the gun at his face, and put my finger at the trigger, Femi saw how serious I was and began to shake in fear! He let go of his bedsheet and raised his hands high in the air, The lady he was banging came out and saw what was happening, as soon as she saw me pointing the gun at Femi, she shouted and fell on the floor, the bitch fainted.

I let him go and went out of the house, I knew it was them but they couldn’t have just have gotten the information they needed by looking at the file, I just have to go to that Makeup shop and find out.
I reached there finally, I parked my car and went into the shop, I asked the staff where their Boss was and they showed me her office.
As I entered her office, the place was quiet, I looked around but there was no one there, all of a sudden, I saw a big hairy monster behind me, I quickly pulled out my gun and fired, Luckily the bullet missed by an inch.
The creature shouted and tried to run but I intercepted it and subdue it, just them the face fell off and I saw the face of the lady, it was the shop owner, Fear and panic was written on her face.

Chris ➡ You’re Justina right?

Justina ➡ Jesus man! Are you crazy? You could have killed me.

Chris ➡ This should be a lesson to you never to scare people. I have some questions to ask you.

And that was what I needed, I thanked her and left the office, as I reached where the customers were, Nobody was there including the staff, they must have took to their heels.
I entered my car and drove to Veronica’s house to see if I could find anything.
Those bastards must have hired someone to search for Veronica’s house, and unlucky for her he did I soon reached the house, and entered the house, it was still the same way it was the day Veronica and her gang got missed, I looked around to see if I could find anything but nothing, I sat on the couch to rest, going around all day to find your girlfriend’s friend is not easy, Just then I heard some noise up stairs, I stood up quietly and went for the stairs, Someone was in,side the house, who could it be?
Whoever that was upstairs was sent by the one who kidnapped Veronica, as I reached up to where the sound was coming from, I sneezed unexpectedly and the person in,side the room heard it, before I could enter, he bursted out of the room and took off like a rabbit, he amazingly jumped from the stairs and landed hærd on his feet but the impact of his drop had made one of his legs pop!
I followed him as quickly as I could, before he could escape to safety, I tackled him and sat on him. He tried to struggle but I pointed the gun on his face.

We went in,side the house with him in the front while I followed him with a gun behind him as we entered I saw Veronica’s friends, they were messed up and bruised , I went to where they were and touched their pulse, the girl was dead but the guy was breathing slowly, I called the ambulance 🚨 to Veronica’s house, I also called the Police for backup.

Chris ➡ Where is Veronica? you bastard!

Thug 2 ➡ She dey for chief house, she dey alive.

I called Cherry to let her know I’ve discovered Veronica and she’s alive.
