Chapter Fifty Seven: VERDUN BETRAYAL ( STELLA DEATH )
Verdun grip tighten around Stella hand as they walk into his bedroom, what he plans to do is wrong, this can ruin the trust Betty has in him, he promised not to betray her, closing the door and watch Stella take off her dress gently.
I have work so hard to get this power from her, being a half dream walker and a lycan sure is a good thing, the life force of dream walkers is in her but half and then the strength and power of the red pack is also in her.
Who won’t want all this power, people has been after her for a long time and now she plans to give it to me willingly, more powers to make me even stronger, how can I reject such an offer, no one in their right mind will do that.
“V?” I blink then stare at her fully naked, she move close to my direction and start unbuttoning my shirt, staring at her I said nothing, if I see her as Betty I will be able to do this but how can I see her when red eyes is looking up at me instead of green ” are you still interested?? ” she asked successfully taking off my shirt, her hands travel on my chest and I have to fight the irritation coming to body.
She unhook my belt, take it off, unzip my trouser and that fall off too, stepping out of it I hold her hand, stopping her from pulling my boxers ” let me take care of you now “lifting her up I throw her to the bed ” forget about romance Stella, I need you right now ” separating her legs I didn’t wait for doubt to come into my head anymore, I need that power from her and I will get it.
I will deal with Betty later, if only she listens. Taking off my boxers I thrust in,she scream but that didn’t stop me from moving faster and when she came I pull out ” give it to me Stella ” placing my hand around her neck I crush my lips down on her, sucking everything from her body till what is left is a wood.
Standing up I move to my mirror, my eyes has mixture of blue and red now, I could feel my veins pulse increase and faster ” this is power ” smiling I suddenly feel hungry, real hunger, putting on my cloth I grab a jacket but before I could leave I look at the mirror only to see that my eyes has divided, red and blue, In each socket, it divide into red and blue.
I look Scarry, will Betty still want me?
Even in this condition you still think of her?
She is my mate
She won’t ever forgive you
You are better off without her
She is a weak thing after all
Nodding my head I move out of the room ” Edward ”
” yes alpha ”
” let’s go for hunting ” Edward smile when he notice the change in me ” after that I will like to see my clan, we have plans ”
” am sure they will be delighted to hear the good news ”
The air in my lungs is almost out and I still don’t know how to get out of this iron tank, hitting it didn’t work, trust me I tried, I don’t think Bennett will help me in getting out of here ” did you hear about the news Betty ” her voice fill with calmness ” Verdun is with Stella, the newspaper said they were seen moving from the red pack to his home, hands in hand, looking lovely together ” shaking my head I refuse to believe that, Verdun promised, he won’t do such a thing ” they might have done the deed already, knowing how Verdun doesn’t stay long with a woman without touching ”
” stop it!!” I had no idea I could speak and when I did am no longer in the tank but standing in the location I was before her spell, my body wet as tears drop ” he won’t do that, he promised not to ”
” see it for yourself ” she throw the paper to me and I grab it, it was true, Verdun held her hands, their body close, he smile down at her ” here is a little magic for you to believe ” looking at Bennett she ritual a spell and Verdun image came to view, from the red pack, how they talk, he helped her into the carriage ” I will wait till you’re reincarnated and meet you again Stella, so that I can cherish you properly ” caressing her cheek he smile ” yes, I will give you one more night of sweet pleasure ” he said those words to her, he walk her into the room, they took off their clothes, the moment he thrust in I close my eyes and turn around.
” I can’t see anymore of this ”
” I told you Betty, Verdun isn’t what you think, you are better off without him” turning to look at Bennett I furrow my brows ” how am I sure this is not your plan to make me hate Verdun ” this got her laughing, so hard that she fall on the chair.
” plan? Spare me the drama Betty, I don’t need you hating him, I don’t care but I do hate when a man treat a woman wrongly” Bennett growl ” he did that to me once and I was foolish when I try keeping him close, a cheat is always a cheat ”
” did he send me away so that he can have his time with Stella ”
” I suppose so ”
” I told him not to seek power from her, when we connect he can have power from me, I was ready to give him everything even to die for him ” sniffing I look at Bennett ” I don’t understand all these, my love story always have trails and everything keep going wrong ”
” blame the moon goddess for that ” Bennett shrug ” lycans hate weak creatures, you can change that, become strong then go back to him and show him what he can never get ”
” when do I get out of here ”
” after your training Betty but from today I know what your unique power is, you can undo magic, we need you to perfect that, increase in your speed, your high jumping then we will move to the dark forest ”
” why ??’
” for you to practice on ghouls, try using your enemies power, try to copy their moves” nodding my head I clean my tears ” I will be in the field running ” moving out I start slowly before running fast, Verdun did betray me, it sound so surreal, so fake, I thought he love me? I don’t get all these, he said he amor me didn’t he? Was that all a dream, a stupid dream I dwelled on?
He always said that Stella and him has an unfinished business, is this the business, is it finished now? Is he seeing me like a fool that won’t know anything about all these? A naive girl that love clouded her senses?
Maybe I was that way but its over now, if all these is true, I will kill you myself Verdun Dawson.
Bennett watch how fast she is running, she might not realize it but she has gotten faster compare to before, maybe I shouldn’t have said anything about Verdun little game to her but I know this is the push she need to make it and it really did work, she is so serious compare to before.
” forgive me Verdun, you ask for her to be train, you will get what you need, a wicked and fierce Luna but that wickedness will be directed to you instead ” smiling I look at Betty ” take that as my pay back for all the hurt you caused me, is not my fault you betrayed her” mumbling I nod.
Even a gentle and loving girl can become dangerous when touched wrongly, that’s what Verdun did to Betty and the punishment await him.

Chapter Fifty Eight: TRIP TO THE DARK FOREST 1
Its been months, months I have been training, Verdun said he would visit but he haven’t, am no longer expecting to see him, these days I keep counting the days left before I return to Verdun, the things I plan to do to him, all my plans, everything I have set in order ” are you ready Betty, the dark forest isn’t going to be with ghouls when the sun rise”
Hearing Bennett voice from downstairs I exhale my gaze still fixed at the ceiling, thinking about a lot of things, how my life has changed due to the past month, I trained morning till the next morning without stopping and now is finally time to test my powers if I have truly improved, the last time I went there, the ghouls almost eat me alive if not for Bennett help, it happened that way for good six times and now am hoping today will be different because if am able to win this fight today I will leave this dimension ” Betty!!!”
” am coming” growling I jump to my feet, put on my trouser and shirt, I have almost change from wearing dress to men clothes now which doesn’t make a difference to me anyway, running downstairs only took two seconds for me, my speed has also increased during these time ” are we going now?” Bennett shoot me a glare like always.
” don’t tell me you’re hungry ”
” matter of fact I am, I need to look fresh before meeting Verdun again ” placing my hand on my hip I look at her ” how am I going to show him what he is missing if am looking dried up like you ” furrowing my brows Bennett frown.
” don’t think because you can you undo magic I can’t beat your sorry arse, watch your mouth ”
” oh please, you can’t do anything to me ” bringing my tongue out she chuckle and so did I, during this time I no longer hate her, maybe my hatred reduce just a little, she is only mean at the outside ” any update in the newspaper ”
” none ” Bennett put on her hat and throw mine to me ” your lovely Verdun has been acting pretty good, killing humans and acting a little insane over these months, maybe the powers from Stella is affecting him ”
” that will teach him a lesson then ” putting on my hat Bennett shoot me a satisfied look before nodding her head, Bennett may be happy I hate Verdun, I can sense that from her sometimes but I don’t really care, she open my eyes to things I had no idea of ” we are going to town again??”
” yes I will like to buy a weapon for you before we move to the forest”Bennett mutter reminding me of my sword that the ghouls break into two in my last battle with them.
” alright, I will like a pin ” smiling she frown
” do you have coin for that?”
” no ”
” then you can’t get it ” walking behind her I exhale ” wicked witch”
” I heard that Betty ”
Within a blink of an eye we vanish from her dimension and appear in a village market, its been a long time I see so many people, making me dizzy, children running, people buying and selling ” follow me Betty ” nodding I keep walking behind Bennett, this village seem to be new to me, I haven’t come here before ” what the name of this place?”
” jalir, an ancient village for lycans but humans live here now, occupying the forgotten land ” nodding my head I look everywhere until my eyes land on a particular dark shot and shiny hair, standing with two other men, only their presence is intimidating for the small village.
Verdun, what is he doing here. When I get a glimpse of his eyes I blink surprise, they look different, look dangerous, his right eyes divided into two colours blue and red, same thing to the left.
He seem so interested in the discussion he has with the elderly woman who look like she rather die than face him, her body keep trembling with his presence close to her.
When he turn his head to my direction I swiftly move into the crowd, that was a close one, can’t afford him seeing me now, trying to catch up with Bennett I fasten my step only to bump into Nolan ” Luna??” He place his hand on my shoulder before hugging me ” where have you been…” I didn’t let him finish before swiftly disengaging the hug and running out of his sight.
” where have you been?” Bennett asked when she notice my heavy breathing ” looking for pins” smiling she roll her eyes then throw the sword towards my direction.
” we leave now ” and with that we vanish out of that horrible place.
It only took few weeks before I become to lose my sanity and go back to my cruel ways, I might have thought that Betty is just a few metre away from me but when I try finding her it was difficult, Bennett did something, I had no idea where to start from.
It feels like I have lost everything and now months have passed without seeing her, without touching or explaining myself to her, what must she think of me now, I promised to visit but never show up and then the news that happened with Stella months back.
She must hate me not that I don’t deserve it but I need a chance to explain, tell her why I did that and if she choose to hate me then that’s my punishment for needing too much power.
Standing in jalir I look at the woman, the search of Betty brother has brought me here ” I have heard of that name, he stays in the northern part of jalir, he is known for delivering bread for us to buy ” the woman tremble from fear, my facial looks have indeed gotten even more frightening after that night.
A familiar scent caught my attention, Betty scent, I know that anywhere but when I turn around I see nothing, just stupid humans moving about, buying and selling, maybe am starting to lose my mind ” alpha!” Nolan rush to my side breathing heavily ” I saw luna, I saw her ”
” what do you mean ” turning my attention to him he swallow hard then mumble ” she ran away the very moment I touched her, something has happened, she look and act different ”
” which direction did she follow ” when Nolan point it out I didn’t hesitate to run towards that direction which lead to nothing, standing in the middle of the busy market I close my eyes, the cloud turn dark as thunder strike and heavy rain pour down, people running for shelter but right now am feeling lost.
” alpha we have to go ” Edward mumble
Nolan interject ” the rain is getting serious ”
” I see ” opening my eyes I smile knowing fully well I deserve what’s coming my way, Betty must have run away because she know I would be here.
She hate me.
