Episode 11
Samuel narrates.
She’s angry with me for slapping her, hmmm
gosh! Am really hungry l need to find something
to eat, just for me to get up my phone rings and
l picked up.
Me: Esther what’s it
Esther: You are asking me what’s it don’t you
know what you did?
Me: Esther l have told you to mind the way you
do talk to me
Esther: It’s when you come back to your senses
that l can do that
Esther: Why did you slap Amarachi? Samuel you
have started again eeeeh don’t let me tell dad
Me: Oooh she told you?
Esther: Before nko Samuel you are looking for
my trouble oh don’t let me come there oh
Me: You want to come kill your only brother cos

that always quarrels with his sister is that one a
brother

Esther: Why are you even treating her like this

Esther you always got me annoyed, but what if
this girl informed my father, no l know Esther
very well even though we quarrel, she can’t do
anything to hurt me(l love my sister)
After answering the call, l went to the kitchen to
find what to eat tonight, l should have go see
Amarachi, but l don’t have the face to show up
in that room.
When l got the kitchen, l started cooking, after
the cooking, l brought the food to the dinning
room and went to go call her for us to eat(am
just doing this to make up with the slap and
nothing else)
I got to her room and saw her sleeping(Amarachi
you are a mystery l would love to know)
Before l could make any move she wakes up
Amarachi: Why are you here, have you come to
slap me again? Please leave l need to rest
Me: Am sorry for what happened earlier
Amarachi: Get out Samuel! I hate you
Me: Can you come and eat?
Amarachi: Eat your food am not eating
Me: You can’t go to bed without eating, please
you just need to eat
Amarachi: like you care? You now care right?
Me: Ha what are you thinking? Amara l don’t
care, l cooked for you to make up with the slap
and nothing more
Me: So if you’re not eating leave
Amarachi: Samuel please leave! Seeing you
pissed me off the more
Me: Stand up and eat, cos if you die here they
will hold me responsible
Amarachi: Please leave
Me: Please Amarachi
Amarachi: Is that the reason you are even staring
at me like that
Me: Are you coming with me?
Amarachi: Go eat yours am coming
Amarachi: Go nah
And l left, rubbish don’t think l care cos l don’t
Amarachi narrates
Samuel you surprised me sometimes, when l left
here the first time, you were looking for me to
the extent of even crying, today you even
cooked for me just to tell me he’s sorry, why did
he then Said he doesn’t care. Could it be that he
loves me? Rubbish! Whatever l just want to
forget about him he is nothing but a jerk!.
Should l go and eat his food? I asked myself,
before l knew it am going to eat that food cos
am very hungry
I met him just sitting down in the dinning room,
he wasn’t eating, he was just looking at the food
sort of angry and l joined him, l didn’t even look
at his face and l started eating
Samuel: You can’t even pray before eating
Me: Don’t talk to me
Samuel: Have you forgotten l cooked the food
you are eating
Me: And so? (still busy with the food)
Samuel: What if l say you should stop eating it
Me: When you have said it already(still eating
Samuel is such a nice cook)
Me: You cooked this?
Samuel: No you cooked it rubbish
Me: I can’t cook this rubbish of course you know
Samuel: Rubbish and you are still eating it
Me: Mtcheew
Samuel: You are mad at me right?
Me: Yea (staring at him)
Me: Why are you not eating?
Samuel: I will eat on one condition
Me: What! Don’t ask me to forgive you cos l can’t
Samuel: Ok
Me: Eat your food
Samuel: Am not eating
Me: Then leave (why shouldn’t l forgive him)
Me: Samuel!
Samuel: What’s it
Me: Why do you k-ss me?
Samuel: Ha why do l k-ss you or why did we k-ss

Me:mind you l didn’t k-ss you
Samuel: Then are mine the one that k-ssed you?
We were now staring at each other unsure of
what to say. My phone rings immediately and l
picked it up
Me: Hello who is this?
Caller: It’s mr sampson
Me: Mr Sampson?
Caller: Yea
Me: Sir good evening sir
Mr Sampson: Yea how are you my princess (my
princess?)
Me: Am fine sir
Mr Sampson: Can l see you tomorrow beauty
Me: Tomorrow?
Mr Sampson: Yea would you be chanced?
Me: Not really sir
Mr Sampson: Ok princess l would love to have a
word with you just let me know anytime you are
chanced
Me: Alright sir
Mr Sampson: Alright take care (he Says and
hangs up)
Samuel was just looking at me and with that
look on his face am pretty sure he is surprised
Samuel: Who is that?
Me: What’s your business
Samuel: Amarachi you are just starting school
today and you have already given mr Sampson
your phone number? Are you stupid? ( what! So
he knows him)
Me: And how does it concern you eeee
I said and stood up to leave
Me: Pack those plates
I said again and left. Ha Samuel was looking at
me
Samuel narrates.
Amarachi! Why did you give that stupid lecturer
your digit, is that man after her? Is he after her?
I got angry l went to her room to ask her more
on getting there, l saw her reading.
“Samuel am studying” she said, still busy with
her books
“so?” I said
“that means you should leave” she said meaning
her words
“cos l don give you food to chop” l said and look
at her, she laughs a little but claims she isn’t
“that’s what you will be doing till l am ok and
forgive you?” She says still reading
“Amarachi what did that stupid lecturer tell you”
l asked her and she didn’t reply
“Amarachi am asking you?” She did the same
and l angrily left.
The next day
I don’t have lectures, l woke up and checked my
phone to noticed that Annabel had been calling,
l called her back and she informs me she will be
coming.
After the call, l went to the bathroom to take my
bath, on my way to the bathroom l saw her also
heading to her own bathroom, we both looking
at each other
Me: Should l first greet you?
Amarachi: Good morning
Me: Hmmmm
Amarachi: What
Me: Nothing
Amarachi: why that look, stop looking at me like
that
Me: Ooh
Amarachi: What!
Me: Since you are going to the bathroom can we
bath together?(what! Samuel are ok?)
Amarachi didn’t say anything, she was just
staring at me unsure of what to do or say next
Me: Am sorry l was just teasing
I said and left.
After taking my bath, Amarachi and l drank tea
and since when l said that she has refused to talk
to me even when l say those annoying words to
her she wouldn’t reply
After the breakfast, l went in,side while Amarachi
stays in the sitting room.
After about one hour Annabel called to tell me
she’s here. I went downstairs immediately to see
her. When going, l didn’t see Amarachi in the
sitting room shit! Has she gone to open door for
Annabel?
“ha nice to meet you again Amarachi” l
overheard Annabel
“what’s it again why have you come here”
Amarachi asks
Immediately Annabel steps forward to slap her
and l blocked the slap which makes Annabel’s
hand to land on me.
“You can’t hurt her” l said

Amarachi narrates
“it’s like someone is there” l said to myself to go
open the door, thinking it was ivy cos she just
called to tell me she’s on her way.
When l got to the door, l couldn’t believe whom
l saw, “Annabel?” I mean how, why did l have to
see this pr-stitute here again
Annabel: Wow interesting welcome once again
Amarachi
Me: what’s it again why have you come here
Immediately l said that,she moved forward to
slap me, l have shifted already just for me to see
the hand landing on Samuel (does he care for me
to this extent) the hand would have touched me
if Samuel didn’t block it.
“you can’t hurt her” Samuel said and was very
pissed
“Samuel am am sorry” Annabel says
“come here” Samuel says and dragged her
upstairs

I angrily dragged Annabel upstairs, threw her
in,side my bed and started asking her all l need to
know towards her reaction
Me: What was the meaning of that
Annabel: So you now keep pr-stitute in your
house
Me: And who is the pr-stitute?
Annabel: Your so called girlfriend
Me: She is not my girlfriend and mind you she is
not a pr-stitute
Annabel: If she’s not your girlfriend why then are
you keeping her in your house

Annabel: Good you need to ask her and for that l

after this years she still shows up

Annabel: Tell her to get ready for me
She says, stood up and turned to leave. I
dragged her back and wrap her neck with my
hands
Me: Don’t you ever try to hurt her
Me: Do you hear me? If you dare try to hurt

Me: Are you like challenging me(l said and hold
her neck tight)
Annabel: Samuel let’s go off me
Me: What has that innocent girl done to you
Annabel: Let me go
She says, l free her and she left
Shit! My plan to bleep her just failed, but what
did Amarachi do? Am wondering cos the
Amarachi l know cannot even hurt a fly, she only
shows all her power if she sees me shit! I
wouldn’t allow anybody to hurt Amarachi, l must
start tracing that Annabel
But why are mine even showing concern about
this wh0le mess God! Have l started loving
again? Do l love Amarachi? No l don’t think so
am just showing concern here cos of my dad and
nothing more.
Amarachi narrates
I was about going upstairs when l saw Annabel
coming down, we both stopped
Annabel: Amarachi do you think you can take
this one away from me like you did earlier
Me: Pardon? I don’t know what you are

you later came to study in the same school with
me.

“leave her!” Samuel pouts pissing me off the

“Annabel get out! And don’t come to my house
again” l Said and went upstairs
“you just heard her” Samuel says and follows me.
Immediately l got to my room, Samuel enters
and was staring at me
Me: Am sorry for that slap, it was my fault
Samuel: It’s nothing
Samuel: It doesn’t mean anything
Me: Is she your girlfriend?
Samuel: No she is my course mate
Me: Sure?
Samuel: Yea

Me: Yea
Samuel: Are you ready to tell me?

I said and left him while he was just looking at
me
I got downstairs to wait for ivy cos she will be
here any moment from now.
After about 5 minutes, she texts me that she is
here and l left immediately to go welcome her
Me: Wow sweet heart come in
And they came in, she came with one other girl
who l believed is ivy’s friend
“wow such a Nice place” lvy says and sat down
“you guys are welcome” l said
“thanks darling” ivy said
“eeeh that reminds me Amarachi this my friend
Adanne but you can call her Danny” ivy says
“Danny this Amarachi l used to tell you about”
she says again
“hi Danny you are welcome” l said

“is it the Danny in journey of love or another
Danny” l said

“so babes what should l give you guys” l asked
“anything bae” lvy said and l left to go bring
soft drinks for them

glass of pineapple juice

“where is she studying?” I asked her
“she is studying business administration at
uniport” she replied

” am a law student here” she answers

Episode 13
I had been hearing noise downstairs, which got
me worried “is Annabel still here?” I asked
myself and stood up to go see for myself. When l
got downstairs, l saw two beautiful damsels
discussing with Amarachi
Wow one was such an epitome of beauty, but her
beauty cannot be compared with that of
Amarachi. When you are talking of beauty three
of them define it, but l think Amarachi defines it
the most.
I moved closer to see them and to greet them
also since they haven’t noticed me. One saw me
and the other hasn’t seen me, she sees me
immediately and shocked to the extent of
throwing the glass she was holding on the floor
and glass got broken. Cos of that l got pissed and
moved closer to her to confront her cos l was
already angry at Amarachi for bringing guest
here without my notice.
Me: Hey why would you be breaking my own
glass in my own house (l said and Amarachi
stood up immediately, the girl l was even talking
to hasn’t shown me her face, she lays her face on
the ground)
Me: Are mine not talking to you?
Amarachi: Samuel! (Amarachi scre-med and the
girl raised her face up immediately)
Me: What! Ivy!
Ivy: Samuel nice to meet you again(she says
standing up)
Has Tessa told her what l did?
Amarachi: Do you guys know each other?
Ivy: Yea (ivy says sed-ctively looking at me)
Ivy: Is he the friend you are living with?”
Amarachi: Yea
Me: So you guys are friends (am already afraid)
Ivy: Yea
Ivy: Samuel! Samuel! Do you know l had been
looking for you (shit! What’s the meaning of
that)
Shit! This girl had been told so if this discussion
should continue it should just be only ivy and l
Me: Excuse me (l said and left
. Amarachi looks me one kind eyes)
Amarachi narrates
Ivy was behaving strangely immediately she sees
Samuel, after Samuel left, she was sort of angry.
Danny: Is there any problem?
Me: Ivy what’s it
Ivy: So this is the jerk you are staying with
Me: Samuel isn’t a jerk(are mine defending him?)
Ivy: Ha isn’t a jerk? Like you fall for him? Are

Amarachi why would you be bringing ivy here, l
know what l did to her sister wasn’t good, but l
didn’t know she was a V-rgin has it been l knew l
wouldn’t have bleeped her. Mtcheeew what ever
if ivy tries any rubbish l will bleep her together
rubbish. As l was in my room thinking about this,
someone bangs in,side my door l thought it was
Amarachi just for me to turn and see this ugly
thing here (ugly? She is the most beautiful but
not to compare with that of Amarachi)
Me: What are you doing in my room
Ivy: I was still talking to you and you left why
Me: Cos you seem not to have any reasonable
thing to say

about undressing her when l heard

immediately and turn to see the person who else
it was

Me: Amara (l called but she left)
Me: Ivy leave from here
Ivy: Samuel
Me: I said get out!
She turns to leave and l called her back
Me: Come back here? (and she came)
Me: Are you in anyway revenging for your sister?
Ivy: I don’t know what you are talking about
Me: Listen what happened today should not be
said outside
Me: I don’t love you (l said and left her)
