OH MY HEART (ROSEANNA)

Chapter 52
Continuation from the last chapter;
She watches Roseanna breathe drastically reduces as the monitoring device blinks showing a change in the wave.
Soon the alarm blew off.

Jason enters into the hospital and walks towards Roseanna’s ward. Hearing the alarm blow made him bothered.
“Who switched off the lights?”
Starlet gasps hearing voices in the room. At that point, there was no place to run.
“Oh no! There will soon switch on the lights!!”
Not sure of what to do, she lifted up the hospital mattress and hid under it.
Gasps
“Roseanna!!” He screamed running towards her.
Roseanna who tried her bed grasping for air as her hear beats faster.
“What is it?” Lea says running in.
“Doctor! Doctor!!”
The doctors quickly rushes in straight to were Roseanna laid, quickly placing the oxygen mask on her.
Taking the stethoscope, they placed it on her, trying to get the sound of her heart beat which was beating so slow though not steady.
“Who removed the oxygen from her?” The doctor asked after checking her pulse rate.
“I have no idea” Lea says palming her forehead.
“Any problem Doctor? I mean… how is she?” Kalila asks worried. Sitting besides Roseanna, she touched her forehead and sighs.
“Not actually… but if she had stayed extra minutes without the mask… it would be an entirely different story…” The doctor says, hanging the stethoscope on his neck.
“We need to be grateful that nothing wrong had happened to her, she will still be on a regular checkup until she is awake”.
” Thank you so much doctor”.
The doctor turns to leave but got half tracked when Jason spoke.
” I want a 24/7 security watch in this ward right now!!” Jason folded his hand into a fist with his eyes red.
” Someone did come inside this room and removed the oxygen from Roseanna and this will be the last time it will ever happen again!”
” On it!” The doctor quickly bringing out his phone, dialled the security.
” There should be a 24/7 watch at ‘Ward 207’ right now!” He said and hangs up.
Soon two able bodied men comes in.
“You both are in charge of this room… No one, I repeat… No one should be allowed in here except they…” The doctor says referring to Jason and the rest.
“And I or the nurses on duty and in charge!!” He concluded.
“Yes sir!”
Jason walks towards them, looking at them both, he let out a deep sigh, nodding his head.
“Total security… Make sure nothing goes wrong in here… Still be careful of whoever may pretend to be any medical personnel…”
“If it is about the money… I will pay you wholesomely but …!”
“Yes sir! ”
The doctor turns to leave after everything was concluded with Jason and others following at the back.

Starlet who had been hidding under the hospital bed heaves a sigh of relief as she crept out of it.
“Your so foolïsh Starlet… Now look at what you have done! A 24/7 security has been placed on Roseanna!!”
She falls back to the floor, cupping her chin into her hand.
“What am I supposed to do now… I can’t even leave here at this point… Think Starlet… Think!!”
Starlet looks around the room, finding what may make her escape from where she was. Then she sights a lab coat hanging over the wall.
Standing up from where she was, she walks to wear the coat. Opening the drawer next to it, she picks a medical nose mask and gloves and puts it on.
“I hope this works out well Starlet”
Taking a deep breathe, she walks towards the door and opens it.
“How did you get in here? Because I was sure everyone had gone leaving only the patient alone” One of the security asked.
‘Oh no! What am I supposed to say?” Starlet thought to herself.
“Answer! Or having you suddenly gone deaf?” He commaded which jerks Starlet back to Earth.
“Umm… I was left with the patient to do the final checkup on her and am here to give the doctor the final results” She said holding a syringe needle in her hand.
They looked at her carefully still not sure of her answers.
Starlet looks back at them, “Your not still sure? Do you think I am lying?” She scoffs.
” Excuse me, I have other patients to attend to!!” She says pushing them aside as she walks out.
Starlet walks down the stairs and removed the coat together with every other thing she had worn.
“Oops, that was close!!” Heaving a sigh of relief, she smiles.
“Now I know the next step to take Roseanna… My time in the hospital is counted and I won’t leave without doing something that will please me” She smiles mischievously.
” No matter how you’re gonna make her secured Jason… Just know that you may be bseeing her for the very last time darling. Oh my!” She said palming her chest.
She cleans the little tears forming in her eyes as she smiles.
“And this may also be my last… But I don’t care… Because I must get what I want no matter what… And that is Roseanna’s torüre!! I can’t just stand her live.. I h@te you Roseanna!! I surely do… Just get ready for the next one … I guess this one failed!”
She chuckles and walks out.

Chapter 53

Helena, Starlet mom had been worried, she had not heard anything from her for almost a month as she was aware that Starlet was pregnant.
She picks up her phone and dials her daughter’s phone number.
“Hello mum, how are you doing?” Starlet says receiving the call.
“I’m fine… I just want to hear from you… how are you doing and how are you coping with your pregnancy?”
Starlet swallows hard down her throat as she didn’t say anything.
“Starlet are you okay?” Helena asks noticing the silence over Starlet.
“Mum… I’m fine” She replies.
“Are you sure?” Still not convinced with her daughter’s reply.
“Yeah mom, do you think I would be hiding something from you?”
” No… I just wanted to know how you were… I just miss you…” Helena says emotionally.
” I miss you too mom” she said hanging up the call.
Starlet sighs as she threw the phone on the bed.
“I’m sorry mom…”
She stands up and goes over to the dressing table. Sitting down on the stool besides it, she looks at herself in the mirror.
“Now, I can’t bear children again… I’ve completely lost my womb!” She said holding her stomach.
Tears well up in her eyes as she allows it to streak down.
“Oh no Starlet… You shouldn’t be crying right?” She said to herself, dapping off the tears from her face with a facial wiper.
“You have a lot of plans and work to achieve this week. Com’on… It’s okay now!”

It’s examination week and students prepares extensively for it and due to that, Jason, Kalila, Diana and Lea couldn’t visit Roseanna as regular as before as they checked up on her often but had to make sure she was completely safeguarded while they were away.

Gloryland Hospital
“She’s gradually getting better now, she is responding to treatment and her health is improving too after much pain and shock” The doctor says as they were seated in his office.
“Her pregnancy is in it mid-month closer to her delivery and at this point she requires great care and more attention once she wakes up eventually from the coma. And now she can know the gender of the baby”.
They listened nodding their heads at intervals while he talked.
“Thank you so much doctor, thank you for everything…” Lea commented soon as the doctor concluded.
“I’m only doing my job and… It’s my pleasure…”

” Make sure this plan goes successfully and the trace is cleared from any suspicion… I’ve got everything prepared for it” Starlet told the two men standing in front of her.
Handing over to them, Doctor’s laboratory coat, and every other tools required for the plan as she too is dressed completely in a nurse uniform, a nose mask and gloves.
She smiles brightly to herself, ready to hatch her plans.
“Ready?”
They walk in confidently in to the hospital, one rolls a stretcher and the other holding a diagnosis book. They walked over to’Ward 207′ where Roseanna was laid.

Roseanna slowly opens her eyes and looks around in the room where she was in.
“H-how d-did I get in here… What happened to me? ” She asks no one in particular as though no one was there with her.
She removes the oxygen mask placed on her as she could breathe in perfectly fine.
She looks at her stomach and smiles though tears drops down her cheeks as she remembers the incident that led her here.
“My baby… Jason!!” She shut her eyes tight trying to stop the tears from flowing but she slept off instead.
“Hey! Where’s do you think you are going?” The security asked the two dressed doctor who tried to walk into Roseanna ward.
“We want to take our patient to the laboratory for total run up of tests and checkup” They said trying not to look suspicious.
The security scoffs, “Really? But we don’t take her to the laboratory, every test or checkup is done in here… So proof?”
Taking out their ID’s from their breast pocket, they gave it to the security.
“Here…” Watching him glance through the ID’s for clarification. ” We need her there to get her samples and results more accurately” they said convincingly.
” And who’s working with you?”
“I” Starlet walks in smiling.
” Your own ID?”
Starlet takes her ID and gives it to them.
“Look at me!!” They barked trying to compare the identity profile without her actual face.
Starlet looks at them, she made sure she took the ID that was almost her replica of herself.
The securities cross-check every details and nods their head in approval.
“You can go in”
The two doctors and Starlet are allowed to go in which they did. Pulling in the stretcher along with them.
“Mission one completed! Now we need to be quick to get her out of here!!”
“On it ma’am!”
They quickly remove everything placed on Roseanna and lays her on the stretcher carefully.
Fixing the drip and some necessary things on it, they rolled out the stretcher from the Ward.
“Thank you” They gave a bow to the security, leading Roseanna away.
They rolled the stretcher out of the hospital quickly as luckily, Roseanna’s Ward wasn’t up the stairs.
Starlet watched around to be sure that no one was seeing them while they placed Roseanna carefully into a Sienna packed in front of them.
Hoping in the Sienna, they quickly drove off, with Starlet waving at them.
“Good luck!” She said smiling.
“This time Jason wouldn’t know where his dear Roseanna is!!”
