CHAPTER FIFTY ONE: SHOCKING REALIZATION 2
Lord Mammon remain still while he pured ” if you keep staying close to her, you will die mammon ” frowning I squeeze my hands ” don’t tell me you thought you will be fine, yes she is human but ninety percent of her is the death spirit”
” How do you know all these”
” She caused this to happened to me ” his feet finally touch the ground and he move closer ” do you know how it feels to be faceless, no body does”
” You wish to kill her because of this ” I growl ” lily has passed through alot, what you need to do is go to the past and face Alisha ”
” What gibberish are you muttering ” he growl ” Alisha and lily are one ”
” They are not ” stepping closer, my whole face turn emotionless” if you or any of your men touch lily, touch what’s mine, I will kill you ”
” Do you think am the only one interested in her? Do you think she doesn’t have more enemies ”
” What do you mean”
” Twenty men were turned faceless, died and the lucky ones just lost their memory and powers ” he growl ” she might hate and curse the gods but as a spirit of death, she is meant to kill, live in darkness and nothing more ”
” Stay away from lily, I will let you live for now but if you come here again, if you step foot in my palace again, consider yourself dead ” growling I watch him step back.
” Do not just bark Lord mammon” his voice calm ” I could feel that you just lost a great amount of power, stay away from her if you wish to live because angels without their powers are good as dead ” he vanish from my sight and I squeeze my hands.
He might be right, f×¢k. I can feel how weak I have become from just a night with her, what do I do, how do I overcome this ” this might not be so bad milord ” baron mumble, gaining my attention ” you can just leave her, surely you do not wish to die ”
” I can not leave her”
” Why milord, she is obviously dangerous to you ”
” I love her ” running my hands through my hair I exhale ” I don’t think I can live without her, I might die if we are separated”
” Milord, you will die close to her ” baron growl ” for the first time milord, for the first time am against this decision”
” Forgive me baron ” mumbling I nod ” keep this a secret between us will you ”
” What if they use lily to kill you ”
” I will die peacefully”
” Why!!!!!” He growl ” what’s your reason to die like this ”
Stopping I turn around to see a sad baron which made me chuckle ” am not dying baron, relax ” leaving there, his question remain in my head, my reason to die? Do I really need one, not everybody knows why they die.
” Milord” Serena, one of my council members run to my direction” you have visitors milord ”
” Who?”
” It’s Lord Ruskin” hearing that name I frown
” What is his reason for coming here ” receiving no reply from her I shake my head ” send him away ”
” But ”
” Do as I say Serena ”
Moving back to my chambers, I step in, shut the door and stare at lily brushing her hair gently ” lily ” moving close I k×ss her neck gently but her body felt wrong, the reactions were different” why Lord Mammon, why won’t you run away from me like the others ”
” Lily?” Moving back , she stand to her feet then look at me, she look angry for some reason
” It is Alisha Lord Mammon” she growl ” my name is Alisha”
” What’s wrong ”
” You know you might die but you won’t leave? Why won’t you leave ” watching how angry she looked I frowned, stepping closer I furrow my brows.
” What are you so angry about” I growl ” do you wish for me to leave you alone that bad?”
” No ” a tear drop from her eyes.
” Stop trying to be Alisha lily ” I smile knowing fully well that Alisha character won’t be coming back, lily already knows everything ”
” You will die milord ” she fall down to her knees ” if you don’t leave you will die ”
” But then you will be all alone ” touching her face, I clean her tears ” I will never leave you ”
” But then you will die ” she frown ” I will be the cause of everything”she shake her head ” no milord, you have to leave, you have to take care of your health and be happy ” saying nothing to her, she stand to her feet slowly” I should be the one leaving, I should be the one to pack….it’s your kingdom after all”
” Lily!”
” No milord, I must keep you safe ” grabbing her hand I pull her to my body ” milord?”
” Relax lily, am not dying, am not like the others who are weak” mumbling I gently pat her back” am a fallen angel, one of the seven deadly sins, trust me when I say you can not kill me ”
” But ”
” No buts ” bending my head I k×ss her cheek then forehead ” you must be hungry, come….we should go for breakfast”
” Am not ”
” You look so thin, you have lose so much weight” mumbling I smile ” you need to eat, please ” she stare at me for few minutes before nodding her head ” you should put something on then” she look down on herself before realizing that towel is still wrap around her body.
Her face heat up before stepping back ” I should dress up milord ” I watch her move to the closet, I still have no idea when she put her clothes in my closet.
Watching her I couldn’t help but to smile, a reason to die huh? What will my life be if I let lily go because of something silly like this, life is not something I will wish to have if lily is not in it ” silly lily” I call out her name, she turn around, staring at me I smile” I love you lily, so much ”
” Milord ”
” What do you think lily ” grabbing her hand, I smile ” do you not love me ”
” You know I do milord ”
” Then you definitely have to change this dress, it’s short, tight and revealing….I don’t want someone else seeing what’s mine ” I watch her chuckle

Lord Mammon watch how she eat carefully, her chop sticks place correctly in her hands, she slowly lick her l-ips after every bite and to be honest, it was getting to me, I want her all over again.
” Milord?” Her voice brought me back to reality ” you look a Little pale”
” Pale?” I furrow my brows and she nod
” You should eat, you also need food ” she mumble, sounding worried and sad, you need food as much as I do milord ”
” It’s satisfying to watch you eat ”
” So you aren’t hungry ”
” I certainly am ” smiling I pick up my spoon, leaving the chop stick ” tell me lily, what your favorite thing about me ”
” Do I really have to answer”
” You do”
” I don’t have one ” her words made me stop
” Really”
” Yes milord, I love everything about you, your voice, appearance, height, the way you speak, the way walk and the way you make me feel in,side ” she smile ” oh and the way you touch me too” this however brought blush to her face.
” Hmmm” sipping my wine I shake my head before mumbling more ” what about that faceless man ”
” Milord ”
Seeing she has eaten enough I purred” I need to know more lily, what is it that you did in the past, why do so many people hate you ”
” I don’t remember everything” she mumble, her eyes seem distant ” I don’t”
” You’re lying ” looking at her, I stand to my feet, move towards her direction and pull her up ” what did you do lily ”
” I did nothing, trust me mammon ”
” Trust?” I growl ” are you talking about trust? I know fully well you remember everything, do you want me to die that bad!” I had no idea why I said all that, am not the kind to blame it on lily or even doubt her.
” Milord ” she look at me worried before touching my forehead” you have a fever ”
” I do not have a fever ”
” Then what’s wrong!”
” If I don’t touch you for more than five hours, I lose myself…it’s like addiction” stepping back I run my hands through my hair ” I don’t fall sick, this is just being denied of a drug ”
” Do you need to be away from me?”
” No lily, that will be worst, I badly need you ”
” And each time you have me you grow weak ” I turn around and stare at her, I never told her about that, are her memories truly back
” How”
She nod her head ” I remember, it’s all my fault mammon” tears drop from my eyes ” it hurts that you are passing through this cause of me, I feel truly bad and sad, really sad milord ”
” What do you mean ”
” Am wicked and selfish”
” Lily!”
” You will die ” the bitter truth left her l-ips ” if you stay too close to me, you will die and it’s serious ”
” How and why ”
” From all my research centuries back, I know for a fact that when an angel loses all their power they will die, you are not safe with me ”
” That won’t kill me ”
” Milord!”
” I will not lose my powers either ”
” You will ” baron walk in with Aries, the sin of pride ” and you need to stay away from her ”
” Baron!”
” He is right mammon ” Aries mumble while moving close to lily, he k×ss her hand and smile ” I have heard so much about you milady ”
” Aries”
” And do not think of wedding her mammon ” he move closer to me ” we need to talk ”
” Nothing to talk about ”
” She is dangerous, a death spirit is one that can not reproduce nor stay close to a living thing without taking from it’s source ” Aries growl ” she is not just taking your powers but literally your life source ”
” I can’t”
” Baron take her away, I will have a word with mammon ” watching lily leaving the dinning room, I sit down, I feel lost, broken ” you need to let her go ”
” I can’t”
” You will die mammon! This love is not meant to be!”
” I love her ” mumbling to myself, I feel myself drowning in sorrow” I can’t let her be, I can’t let go ”
” Do you think she will be happy if you eventually die in her arms, for no f×¢king reason ”
” I have a reason” I growl ” my reason to die is love, I will die with lily ”
” She won’t want that, she won’t want you dying cause of her and you’re not dying with her, you’re the only one dying, she will keep living” Aries growl ” grow up mammon, don’t think that because things worked out pretty well for Lucifer, it will work out for the rest of us ”
” What do you mean”
” Do not forget that all these we are doing are sins ” he mumble ” this is just a sin that is not meant to be and if forced then you surely have a reason to die ” I watch Aries leave and I exhale.
To die in lily arms is truly the best way to die.
